Claudia Ogilvie is a senior patent attorney specialized in patent drafting, patent prosecution, and patent counselling in the biochemical and pharmaceutical field. Her technical expertise includes antibody and vaccine technology, (bio)pharmaceuticals, and diagnostic and prognostic methods. Claudia is both passionate and pragmatic about protecting innovation, and works closely with clients of all sizes, ranging from individual inventors and university technology transfer offices to start-ups, SMEs and multinationals. Before joining De Vries & Metman (Netherlands) in 2014, she worked for DSM and AkzoNobel/Organon as in-house patent attorney, and for Pepscan Therapeutics (Netherlands) as director of Intellectual Property.Claudia obtained her Master of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of Leiden (Netherlands), specializing in genetic engineering and genetic markers for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
